Pine Medical Group, P.C. was established in 1965 by Dr. Maynard DeKryger, Dr. Robert Paxton, and Dr. Tunis VandenBerg. In 1991, Pine Medical Group merged with Fremont Family Physicians, a practice which was established by Dr. Jess DeYoung, Dr. Brooker Masters, and Dr. Norman Pedelty, thereby doubling the size of the practice. The group continues to grow by bringing in new physicians, extending both the number and type of medical services available to our patients. Pine Medical Group is currently the largest rural multi-specialty clinic in West Michigan, with offices in both Fremont and Newaygo. We currently employ approximately 21 providers and 100 employees.
